The Fortex Nylon Lifting Straps provide extra grip when lifting heavy weights. These straps are made of very strong and durable nylon that does not stretch and is virtually tear-proof. The nylon material has a unique texture for a smooth feel that some athletes find more comfortable than cotton or leather straps. The integrated loop is heavily stitched for extra strength.

The nylon material can be roughened for optimal grip, for example by rubbing the straps with magnesium powder or by grinding them over the knurling of a barbell or over asphalt.
